Tata Power Solar bags order of ₹538 cr from EESL

Tata Power Solar, the country’s largest integrated solar company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power, announced on Tuesday (12th Oct 2021) that it has obtained a “Letter of Award” (LoA) from Energy Efficiency Services Limited to build 100 MW of distributed ground-mounted solar projects (EESL).

The total value of the projects ordered is Rs 538 crore. In a regulatory filing, the solar company stated that the projects will be completed in 12 months.

With this win, Tata Power Solar’s Utility-Scale EPC order book has grown to 4GW (DC) capacity and an estimated value of $9,264 crore (without GST), solidifying its position as the country’s largest Solar EPC provider.

Maharashtra is home to the EESL project sites. Engineering, design, supply, construction, erection, testing, O&M, and commissioning of solar projects are among the services secured.
